ESGDDI

What are ESGDDI?

ESGDDI (Environmental, Social, and Governance Due Diligence Indices) provide an objective assessment of the effectiveness of ESG due diligence efforts, underpinned by a suite of next-generation technologies and processes that transforms how responsible investment indicators are measured, acted upon and monitored.

ESGDDI are not a new ESG standard and don’t reflect the approach of any particular standard or regulation. Out of necessity - driven by the pressure our planet is facing on all fronts - ESGDDIs introduce 'effective purpose' into responsible investment, compliance and reporting, elevating it from a niche and nebulous algorithm-based risk assessment and 'box ticking' exercise to a unified, adaptable, regulatory intelligence backbone to guide all stakeholders - governments, corporates, capital markets, end-consumers and civil society - in what action they can take, and the role they can play, in empowering ethical business for our common future.

ESGDDIs were developed by the team behind SlaveCheck's Modern Slavery Due Diligence Index (MSDDI). For more information, visit SlaveCheck and The SlaveCheck Foundation.
